January 28, 2010George Earl Toups, 82, native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010.
Mr. Toups was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A corporal in the 6th Marine Division, he was a lifetime member of the VFW 8538 and the Golden Meadow American Legion 259.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie Angelette Toups; sons, Clark Sr. (Lois), Buddy Sr. (Carolyn) and Gene (Pamela) Toups; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
