George Kavanaugh Yeager, 78, a native of Jackson, Miss., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, August 2, at 3:10 p.m.
He is survived by two brothers, Larry Sr. and wife Linda Yeager, and Sidney Sr. and wife Nancy Yeager; one sister, Barbara Jean and husband Milton Webb; one sister-in-law, Jenny Yeager; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mouzon M. and Georgie Guice Yeager; two sons, David and Travis Yeager; one brother, Marion Yeager Sr.; and three sisters, Jarvis Tomlin, Margaret Bergeron and Joy Ann Hartsfield.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, August 6, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, August 7, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel in Houma. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
