George R. Gray, 70, a native of Utica, Ill., and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:35 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011.
Mr. Gray served in the U.S. Navy and was an ice cream vendor for 25 years. He loved traveling, gambling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Gray; stepdaughters, Nell, Paula and Amanda Gregoire; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his companion, Yvonne Verdin; and two great-grandchildren. (Chauvin)
