George Russell Lewis, 94, a native of Canadian, Texas and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011.
He is survived by his nephew, Eldon (Betty) Gouldy; niece, Diane (Glynn) Fears; brother and sister-in-law, Ibert and Rose Robichaux; great-nieces, Debra (David) McIlroy, Alicia (Greg) Corrales and Ashley Fears; and great-nephews, Chris (Katia) and Casey (Tracy) Gouldy
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Anna Lewis; wife, Dorothy Lewis; sister, Icel Gouldy; and brother, Arthur Lewis Jr.
Interment was at Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum. (Hargrave)
