George Sanders, 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, November 26, at University Hospital in New Orleans, La.
He is survived by two daughters, Chasity Jacquot and Ramsey Jacquot, both of New Orleans; two brothers, Fred Sanders and Charlie Sanders of Thibodaux; three sisters, Barbara Green, Brenda Briggs and Deena Sanders of Thibodaux; and 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albertha Duncan and Charlie Sanders; and grandparents, Joseph and Anna Sanders.
He was Baptist and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
