Gerald Joseph Pitre, 73, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015.
Mr. Pitre was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, gardening, golfing and playing pool.
Mr. Pitre is survived by spouse, Antoinette Faucheaux Pitre; sons, Jerry Pitre and Greg (Gypsy) Pitre; brothers, Charles Pitre, Sr. and Junius Pitre, Jr.; sisters, Mary Ann Pitre Blanchard and Carolyn Crochet Liner; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Foundation for TGMC earmarked for the local Parkinson’s Support Group.
