Geraldine Couteau Cole, 72, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died at her home Friday, January 2.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Cole Sr.; three sons, Lawrence Jr., Ronald and Carl Cole; one brother, Frank Couteau Jr.; her mother-in-law, Ethel Randolph; one sister-in-law, Olivia R. Clark; one brother-in-law, Willie Clark; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Earline Elphage Couteau; and her grandparents.
She was a former nurse’s assistant at Thibodaux Regional Hospital and a former substitute teacher with the Assumption School System.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, January 10, at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Napoleonville with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
