Gilbert Anderson Sr., 43, a native and resident of Ewellville, La., died Saturday, March 8 at his residence in Ewellville.
He is survived by his mother, Leona Wise of Belle Rose, La.; his father, Wilbert Anderson Sr. of Franklin, La.; sons, Gilbert Jr., Christopher and Edwin Anderson all of New Orleans, La.; brothers, Wilbert and Trellis Anderson of Atlanta, Ga., Michael and Desiree Anderson of New Orleans, and Anthony and Shirley McQueen of Houston, Tx.; sisters, Veronica Anderson of Ewellville, Lydia and Ernest Grothree and Shandrecka Anderson all of Livingston, Tx.; stepbrother, Douglas and Carleen Shine of Cleveland, Tx.; stepsister, Taji Fleeks of New Orleans; three grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville. The 11 a.m. religious service will be conducted by Rev. Lloyd Jones. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams & Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
