Gilbert Joseph Fanguy Sr., 73, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014.
Mr. Fanguy loved to go hunting and fishing with his grandkids. He also loved to cook and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bernadine Fanguy; mother, Edna Fanguy; sons, Gilbert Jr. (Christi) and Paul Fanguy; daughters, Heather and Haley Fanguy; brothers, Howard Jr., Arnold, Wilson, Leroy, Lucius and McKinley Fanguy; sisters, Elta Therien, Angelene Fanguy, Martha Jean, Helen Lajaunie and Edith Martin; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Fanguy Sr.; brothers, Wallace Sr., Roland, Allen Sr. and Jimmy Fanguy; and sister, Diana Boudreaux. (Samart)
