Gladys Galiano Simoneaux, 92, a native of Galliano, La., and a resident of Lafayette, La., died Sunday, July 19.
She is survived by her two sons, Harry Simoneaux Jr. and Steve Simoneaux; one daughter, Cynthia Cousins; three sisters, Girlis McCartney, Sadie Dantin and Rosemary Allemand; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Simoneaux Sr.; parents, Rapheal Jollissaint Galiano or Euphrosie “Fraize” Ledet Galiano; four brothers, Royce, Amy, Floyd Sr. and Lipton Galiano; and one sister, Ena G. Falgout.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
