Lafourche council shoots down Company Canal deal

June 10, 2010Glenda Bonvillain Aucoin, 59, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, June 2, 2010.
She is survived by husband, Donald Aucoin Sr.; sons, Carol Jr. (Paula) and Brian “Bud” (Shelly) Chiasson; stepsons, Marty Sr. and Donald (Ruth) Aucoin Jr.; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald “Black” and Daniel “Danny” Bonvillain; and sisters, Betty Boudreaux, Gale Andras and Debra Bourgeois.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The family would like to extend their thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and all the doctors and staff from Thibodaux Regional Medical and Ochsner Hosptial.
Mrs. Aucoin is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
