Odomes’ lifelong friend to testify against him

August 29, 2011Gloria A. Dufrene, 65, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Larose, La., died at 3:14 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011.
Mrs. Dufrene was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and loved playing bingo.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy and Robert Naquin and Jimmy and Michael Bergeron; daughters, Stacey Cressonie and Cindy Gisclair; brothers, Vergis and Harold Bergeron; sisters, Ella Womack and Joyce Naquin; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Dufrene; parents, Felton and Agnes Bergeron; brothers, Felton Jr. and Gerald Bergeron; and sisters, Catherine Falgout and Sherry Sampey.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
