Gloria J. Carter, 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010.
Ms. Carter was Baptist.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick McGuin Jr., and Elroy, Maceo and Courtney Carter; daughters, Keoka Carter and Stephanie Johnson; sister, Patricia Smith Moses; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce and Steven Moten; and her grandparents, Robert and Rosie Castle
She is buried at Emanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
