July 11, 2011Glorina “Gloria” Rousse Garza, 91, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
Ms. Garza was a beautician for many years and loved to work in her garden.
She is survived by her daughter, Glorina Griffin; brother, Alvin Rousse; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Etienne and Leotine Rousse; brothers, Clifton, Laurent, Edison, Edward, Tillman and Louie Rousse; and sister, Lydia Cheramie.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. with religious services to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
