Gordner John Foret, 87, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, February 19, at 6:45 a.m.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Thibodeaux and husband Charles; daughter-in-law, Marguerite Foret; brother, Jim Foret; sisters, Juliette Chaisson, Norma Baudoin, Marie Ruffino and Janice Hecker; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Theriot Foret; parents, Joseph Foret Sr. and Annette Foret; son, Gerald Foret; and brother, Joseph Foret Jr.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, at St. Mary Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
