Grace Bergeron Porche, 85, a native of Bayou Blue, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 4.


She is survived by her husband, Alphonse John Porche of Houma; two daughters, Robin P. Hamner and husband John of Houma, and Ginger P. Schonberg and husband Richard of Indianapolis, In.; one brother, Samuel Bergeron of Houma; and three sisters, Jeanette Bergeron of Houma, Estelle Byrd and Elda Byrd of Huntsville, Al.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Joseph Bergeron and Laurentine

Marcel Bergeron; three brothers, Roy, Rene and Lucius Bergeron; and one sister, Nell Matherne.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.

She was buried at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
