June 20, 2011Gwendolyn Burdis, 57, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
Ms. Burdis was a former chef at Audubon Guest House.
She is survived by her sons, Derrick (Carlotta), Calvin and Cornell (Esdondalita) Burdis; sisters, Ora Jackson and Estelle Coleman; brother, Louis (Sheila) Jackson; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; one brother; and four sisters.
Burial was at New Belmont Baptist Church Cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
