Harold J. Folse, Sr., 91, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, September 30, 2007, at 11:30 p.m.
He is survived his two sons, Harold “Boo” Folse, Jr. and Ted James Folse; four daughters, Carolyn Legendre, Pamela Folse, Patricia Folse, and Adriel Portier; three brothers, Clayton, Gatewood “Pott”, and Reed Folse; three sisters, Leonelle Melancon, Helen Zerangue, and Zefa Pennison; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adriel Zerangue Folse; his parents, Emile and Serillia Bourgeois Folse; and one brother, Hodges “Deedie” Folse, Sr.
Harold was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 2, 2007,from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
