Sergent First Class Harold H. Lake IV, 32, native of Texas and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, September 24, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Lake; his father, Al Wetch; his mother, Deborah Drake; one daughter, Briana M. Lake; and two brothers, Allen Lake and Michael Wetch.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Billie Mae Drake.


Harold was a devout Catholic and served his country in the Army, Navy, Marines and National Guard.

He enjoyed being a member of the American Legion. He was also part of The Big Brothers & Sisters of America. He was a Lifetime member of the VVNW and Lifetime member of the VFW. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemical Engineering and an Associate degree in Business Management.

Visitation is Friday, September 28, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with religious services to follow at Community Funeral Home in Houma.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
