T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010Harris J. Guidry Sr., 96, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 11:35 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.
Mr. Guidry was Catholic and a retired employee of Dowell.
He is survived by his son, Harris “Pecon” Guidry Jr.; daughter, Harriet Cheramie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie R. Guidry; parents, Toussaint and Ozea Pitre Guidry; son, Larry Guidry; and brother, Lipton Guidry.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday, Feb. 22, at Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off. Mass will follow at noon at the church.
He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
