Harris “Boo-Do” Lee Sr., 62, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at his home.
He is survived by his mother, Josephine Lee; six sons, Scott Lee, Clarke Lee, Lance Lee, Destry Cheramie, Harris Lee Jr. and Grant Lee; one unnamed son; three daughters, Connie L. DeMere, Dottie L. Cheramie and Sarah L. Thibodeaux; two brothers, David Griffin and Richard “Dickie” Griffin; his lifelong friend; four sisters, Loretta Usey, Theresa Gaudet, Alice Griffin and JoAnne Griffin; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lorris Griffin; one son, Terrance Michael Lee; and one sister, Dorothy Gaubert.
He was a fisherman for all his life.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery.
