Harris Paul Trosclair Sr., 90, a native of Chackbay, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, August 26.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Doris Himel Marse Trosclair; two sons, Rudy Trosclair and Harris Trosclair Jr. and wife Danielle; one daughter, Janice T. Lassere and husband Errol “Boogie,” one brother, Whitney Trosclair; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Earline Thibodaux Trosclair; his parents, Joseph and Matilda Marse Trosclair; one daughter, Judy T. Maronge; four brothers, Evans, Edmond, Welton and Joseph Trosclair; one sister, Mary T. Rose; and one daughter-in-law, Cathy Gros Trosclair.
He was loved and will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel with mass to follow at St. John the Evangelist in Thibodaux. He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
