Harrison “Dark Eye” Wise, 69, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Ewellville, La., died at Assumption Community Hospital, Thursday, October 9.
He is survived by two daughters, Krystal Ovide and husband Darryl, and Karen W. Tyler; one son, Lionel Williams; one sister, Leona Wise; five grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dora and Matthew Wise; two brothers, Jimmy Wise Sr. and Henry Wise Sr.; one sister, Evelina Oliver; and one son-in-law, Philmon “Gene” Tyler.
He was a retired construction worker.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
