Harry Pierre, 68, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:26 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011.

Mr. Pierre was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He worked for Cenac Towing and enjoyed fishing and working on antiques. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.


He is survived by his spouse, Walterine Pierre; son, Harry “Boy” (Stacy) Pierre Jr.; daughters, Debra Luke, Wanda Trosclair, Gwendolyn (Brian) Lapeyrouse and Rachel (Billy) Bohannon; sister, Clara Parfait; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Lena Francis Pierre; and brothers, Junius and Clevand Pierre.

He is buried at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
