Hattie Carter, 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.
Mrs. Carter was Baptist and a member of Resident Baptist Church. She was retired from Terrebonne General Medical Center.
She is survived by her sons, Dwayne, Bruce, Keith and Albert Carter; sisters, Emily Thompson and Frances Morris; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carter; and parent, Frances Nevers.
Burial was at Union Benevolent Cemetery. (Community)
