Hattie Toups LeBlanc, 98, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, January 28, 2008.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph Toups Jr.; five grandchildren, Cheryl Tabor, Deidre LeBlanc, Brian LeBlanc, John Balestra Jr. and Christaine Brandt; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon “T-coon” LeBlanc; her parents, Joe Toups and Henrietta Cancienne Toups; son, Allen J. LeBlanc; daughter, Marie LeBlanc Balestra; 11 brothers and sisters; son-in-law, John R. Balestra Sr.; daughter-in-law, Joyce Richard LeBlanc; and great-grandchildren, Louis Tabor and Catina Brandt.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at St. Charles Borromero Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
