Barracudas make waves at state meet

Hazel Gaudet, 89, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Walker, La., died Sunday, July 22, 2007.
She is survived by her brother, Newman Benoit, one sister, Rose Guidry; one son, Harold Gros and his wife Faye; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Achille Gros; her second husband, Charles Gaudet; her parents, Roselius and Judith Benoit; and several brothers and sisters.
Hazel was a proud Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
Visitation is Friday, July 27, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 28, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Thibodaux Funeral Home. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
