Hazel Callais Savoie, 66, a native of Larose, LA. and resident of Cut Off, LA., died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A mass will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie J. Savoie; two sons, Scotty Savoie and wife, Angela, and Kyle Savoie and wife, Amy; two daughters, Donna Eldridge and husband, Charles, and Sherilyn Orgeron and fiance, Eric Poche; two brothers, Steven Callais and Harold Callais; and four grandchildren, Lacy Orgeron, Brandon Eldridge, Leah Eldridge and Joshua Pitre.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Prisca and Nora Danos Callais.
She was retired from Larose Middle and Junior High School as a janitor and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She loved spending time and caring for her family and friends.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
