June 10, 2014Helen Dominique Hartman, 91, a native and resident of Gheens, La., died Thursday, June 5, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Steve (Mary Ann) and Wayne (Priscilla) Hartman; daughters, Abigail (David) Sampey and Faye (Chris) Dufrene; brothers, Felix, Edward and Shedrick Dominique; sister, Mildred Dufrene; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Hartman; parents, Adles and Oceana Dominique; son, Rickie Hartman; and sisters, Mary and Shirley Dominique and Ethel Bednarczyk.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La. (Falgout)
