Helen Dufrene Dugas, 99, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007.
Visitation will be from 7 a.m. to funeral time Friday at First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Manuel Van Dugas and wife, Linda, and Wayne Foster Dugas and wife, Laura Jo; one daughter, Margaret Hufford; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace J. Dugas; her parents, Anthony and Marie Boras Dufrene; one daughter-in-law, Martha Dugas; one son-in-law, John Hufford; one sister, Jeanne Candies Magee; and one grandson.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
