Helen Hebert Marcel, 80, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Friday, Oct. 23.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Marcel and Russell Marcel; one daughter, Linda M. Degruise; two brothers, Wayne Hebert and Charles Hebert; two sisters, Imelda Lirette, Norita “Chee Chee” Quatrevingt; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Justilia Hotard Hebert; and one brother, Bryan Hebert.
She was a parishioner of St. Louis Church. She loved to play bingo.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at St. Louis Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
