Helen Laura Fouquier Liberty, 87, a native of St. Mary Parish, La., died Friday, Aug. 23 2013.
Mrs. Liberty was an avid gardener and friend to animals. She worked for the Navy Department in New Orleans, La., during World War II.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Jr. (Marilyn) Sherwin; grandsons, Mark and Philip Sherwin; two great-grandchildren.
Interment is at Franklin Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
