Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009Helen Antoinette Bergeron Prejean, 87, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009.
Mrs. Prejean was a member of the Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by sons, Richard (Jennifer) and Barrie (Janis) Prejean; daughters, Joanne (Carl) McCammon and Barbara Prejean; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Prejean; parents, Peter Bergeron and Emma Eschete Bergeron; son, Daniel Joseph Prejean; sisters, Laura Freeman, Thelma Babin, Leona Blanchard and Annis Freeman; and brothers, Albert, Alvin, Bill, Charles and Ivy Bergeron.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and from 8 a.m. to service time Tuesday, Dec. 29, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. Her funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
