Henrietta Veronica Cobble, 79, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died Friday, April 29, 2011.
Mrs. Cobble was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was a first grade teacher at Bayou Black Elementary. She had numerous nieces and nephews. She loved family gatherings, her animals and pets, and attending church. She loved her Saturday outings with Nick.
She is survived by her daughters, Gretchen Linscomb and Kathryn Hurst; four grandchildren, Taylor (Joshua) Griffin, and Ryan, Megan and Katelyn Hurst; two great-grandchildren, Carden and Rilyn Griffin; and best friend.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Gene Cobble; parents, Bridget and Everette Sr. Giroir; and brothers, Everett Jr., Conrad and Hartley Giroir.
She is buried at Bayou Black Cemetery. (Chauvin)
