Henry Betemps, 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, July 10, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Henry Betemps Jr.; brother, Louis Betemps; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Betemps; parents, Gaberiel and Henriette Betemps; and sons, Leo, Christopher and Robert L. Betemps.
Burial was at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
