Henry Paul Matherne, 53, a native of Bourg, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, November 6, at 5:30 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Rinda Dehart Matherne; mother, Malvina Galliano Matherne Trahan; sons, Tyler “TyTy”, Henry Jr. and Joseph Matherne; daughters, Faith M. Trosclair and husband Billy, Hope M. Abderrahmam and husband Mohammad, Pamela M. Poche and husband Greg and Shahana “Porky” Matherne; brothers, Lynn John and Mark Matherne; sister, Rose Blanchard; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert J. Matherne Sr.; and brothers, Albert Jr., Glynn and Gil Matherne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samart Funeral Home of Houma for funeral expenses.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday, November 10, and 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, at Bayou Blue Assembly of God. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
