Herbert “Woodstock” Celestin Sr., 63, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010.
Mr Celestin was a retired truck driver for Saia for 33 years. He enjoyed traveling and carpentry.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ross Celestin; daughters, Renetta Johnson and Melissa Hardy; sons, Herbert Jr., Bernard, Nicholas and Danny Celestin; brothers, James and Jones Celestin; sisters, Mable and Eve Celestin; and seven grandchildren.
He was in death by his parents, Daniel and Josephine Williams Celestin; two brothers, Melkiah and Heyekiah Celestin; and three sisters, Elizabeth, Rosadel and Odesia Celestin.
He is buried at Celestin Garden of Memories.
