Herman Hines, 56, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Patterson, La., died Sunday, March 31, 2013.
He is survived by his caregiver, Carolyn Edwards; sister, Loretta Pierre; and stepsisters, Esther Sells and Elaine Hines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Hines.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, La., with services to follow. (Jones)
