Hilary “Kat” Barlow Jr., 65, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Monday, Aug. 17, at 10:40 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Denise LaFontaine Barlow; one son, Norman T. LaFontaine; one daughter, Elveria M. Barlow; eight brothers, Auther “P-Joe”, Charles “Buddy”, Melvin, Adel, Taylor, David, Darrell and Anthony Barlow; five sisters, Shirley, Rita, Lena, Alzile and Susan Barlow; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hilary D. Barlow Sr.; mother, Mabel Theriot Barlow Rivet; step-father, Alex J. Rivet; and one sister, Judy Barlow.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
