Hilda Leggett Wilson, 93, a native and resident of Gray, La., died Saturday, Feb. 16, at 12:45 p.m.
She is survived by five daughters, Ora Mae Lagarde of Gray, Eartha M. Jiles and husband, Henry, of Houston, Tx., Marolyn Folse and husband, Nolan, of Raceland, La., Carolyn Welch and husband, Claudell, of Gray and Schwann R. Charles and husband, Donovan, of Gray; 55 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson; her parents, the Rev. Samuel Leggett and Lucy Stripling Leggett; three sons, Raymond Leggett, Irvin Richard and Lawrence Brooks; one brother, Oisdell Leggett; and her grandparents, George Stripling and Mary Louise Stripling.
She was a homemaker and a member of Eagle Wright Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Eagle Wright Baptist Church with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
