February 3, 2010Hilda S. Tastet, 94, a native and resident of Des Allemands, La., died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31. 2010.
She was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughters, Joycelyn Fann and Cheryl Eymard; five grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lena Kocher Schmill; brothers, Charles Jr., Jens and Clay Schmill; and one grandson, Jimmy Fann.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
She will be buried at St. Gertrude Catholic Church.
