Hilda Voisin Buquet, 92, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died on Tuesday, August 25, at 7:25 p.m.

She is survived by five daughters, Jane DeHart, Lona Mae Domangue and husband Addie, Marjorie Delaune and husband Albert, Sally Foreman and husband Noel and Celina Hess and husband Robert Sr.; one son, Jeffrey Buquet and wife Mammie; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and two step-brothers, Earl Voisin and Hubert Voisin.


She was preceded in death by her parents, John Voisin and Eliska LeBlanc Voisin; two sisters, Hazel Duplantis, Daisy Richard; and three brothers, Walter Voisin, Jerry Voisin and Jessie Voisin.

She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial at Magnolia Cemetery.
