Hillary Lirette

Hillary Michel Lirette, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Theriot, La., died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at 8:43 a.m.

He is survived by one daughter, Ellery Ann Falgout and her husband Lynn; two brothers, Dennis and Daniel Lirette; four sisters, Velma Dehart, Violet Robichaux, Leona Guidry and Angelia Durio; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Lirette Sr. and Marie Liner Lirette; two brothers, Roosevelt and Jimmy Lirette; and one sister Geanne Trahan.

Hillary was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was a tugboat captain for Cenac Towing.

Visitation is Monday, July 30, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Eloi Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
