Howard Edward Green, 83, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, March 25, at 1:36 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Duplantis Green; son, Michael; daughters, Paula, Cindy and Becky; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Green and Gertrude Waggaman Green; son, Chester “Chet”; and brother, Chester J. “C.J.” Green.
He was a retired naval shipbuilder and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
