Hubert “Snake” Aucoin, 88, a native of Jeanerette, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Naquin Aucoin; son, John (Caren) Aucoin; five grandchildren; brother, Gustave “Gus” Aucoin; and sister, Ruth Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave Sr. and Julia Chatinger Aucoin; son, Herbert Aucoin; brothers, Andrew “Papa Co”, Andy “Papa Day”, J.D. “Moose” and Earl Aucoin; sisters, Mrs. Gert Broussard, Mrs. Alberta Boudwin, Mrs. Anna Derise and Miss Odile Venabile.
He is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
