Hubert Joseph Chiasson, 82, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.
Mr. Chiasson was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the 40 and 8 Veterans Association.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie (Patricia) Chiasson; daughter, Frances (Allen) Orgeron; sisters, Inez Bourg and Betty Falgout; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Chiasson; parents, Edgar Sr. and Jeanne Chiasson; and brothers, Edgar Chiasson Jr. and Hampton Ledet.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
