Huey Joseph Comeaux Jr., 44, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Amelia, La., died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011.
Mr. Comeaux was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed crabbing, crawfishing and frogging. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and was an avid pool player. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his father out in the boat.
He is survived by his parents, Huey Sr. and Barbara Comeaux; son, Huey Comeaux III; sisters, Penny (Stanley) Burney, Darlene (Huey) Ohmer and Angela (Craig) Legendre; former spouse, Donna Comeaux; stepdaughters, Angelle (Kenneth) Gradrey and Shyla LaCoste; and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sterling and Helen Dupre and Ulyesse and Nelia Comeaux; niece, Heather Ohmer; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at St. Andrew Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. (Twin City)
