Lafourche council shoots down Company Canal deal

June 10, 2010Ian Philip Matherne, 35, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Friday, June 4, 2010 at 5:20 p.m.
He is survived by his fiancée, Jessica Lasseigne; parents, John (companion Jane LeBlanc) Matherne and Paula S. Matherne; daughter, Allie Matherne; grandmother, Lucille Matherne; brothers, Toby (Stacy) and Eric (companion Tiffany) Matherne; his godmother, Penny Arabie; and five nieces.
Mr. Matherne is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
