Ignace J. Collins, 90, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, June 8.

He is survived by his son, Tedman J. Collins and wife Mildred; sisters, Lorinice Charpentier, Evelyn Thibodeaux, Melda Guidry, Judica Savoie and Elaine Bergeron; grandchildren, Mitsy Sanamo and Wade Collins and wife Pauline; and great-grandchildren, Logan and Connor Collins.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursul G. Collins, parents, Philozate and Theresa G. Collins; brothers, Vendon, Louman and Olaine Collins; sisters, Vivian Callahan, Mildred Doucet and Louella Pitre; and grandson-in-law, Troy Sanamo.

Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, June 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
