Indernetta C. Gilbert

Indernetta C. Gilbert, 47, a resident of Jeanerette, La., died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Gilbert Sr.; fathers, Clifford Marks and Chester (Laura) Gibson; sons, Dwight White, Glenn Jr. and Brandond Gilbert and Jakeem Lively; daughter, Centrelle Lively; brothers, Warner (Liz) and Frank (Donyelle) Colbert and Alton Gibson; sisters, Lolita Layton and Felicia Williams; 10 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Marks; and grandparents, William (Joyce) Gibson, Ivory White and Peter (Mary) Marks.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, with services to follow. Burial will be at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. (Jones)
